Not only was Abraham's shirt off and not only had he climbed onto the table but Maggie was gingerly covering his arms and torso with hummus!
and here is the hard truth about parenting: after i snapped these photos i let them go back to their thing so i could finish cooking. i mean, he didnt seem to mind as long as he was eating and the olive oil surely moisturized his skin right?

Woah, I didn't realize my earlier comment had posted; sorry to have done it twice! Anyway, I have a similar story for you. While dinner was being prepared last night my boys were emptying out the recycling all over the floor and playing with it, including empty cans of soda. Jimmy said, "You don't think that Isaac's fingers will get bloody, do you? He'll probably cry if that happens." So we left them to their happiness. Then when I was washing Isaac's hands to eat sure enough, they were bloody. But just a little :)

SO cute......Can you teach my kid to eat Carrots and hummus?...even if it means using it as lotion sometimes...im impressed. SO funny. Yes, when things grow quiet in a household of kids...something is usually up....love ya,
