sweet aunt nikki!

we went to cali in july to see mojo's younger sister get married. she and spencer honored us by having us all in the wedding! it was such a joy. i will post pictures of maggie and abraham later. they did such an amazing job and i was really quite surprised! maggie walked down the aisle, head held high!, and actually SMILED and abraham just followed along and stopped right in front of his daddy (who was officiating)....too cute.
aunt nikki married a wonderful guy and a great family. it was so fun to be apart of that day!

missing friends

these are some pics we took before we moved of some dear friends...nathan and isaac. nathan is 6 weeks older than maggie and isaac is 6 weeks older than abraham. needless to say, they were wonderful playmates! we miss them!!!

a little behind the times. abe turned 3 in june!!! we had a superhero party with water guns and ice cream. he had a ball....

we sang Be Thou My Vision right before Frankie's baptism. Rev. Craig Brown married us, and now has baptized all 3 kids. so special! It was great to be amongst family and old friends at City Church. And sweet Frankie did so great and seemed really happy. Such an amazing moment!

my man

my main squeeze completed his first triathlon this past week!!! he is such a stud. his first race and he came in 13th in his age group-hello awesome!!! i'm so proud of my handsome muscley man!

lately

july has been a whirlwind of activity. weddings galore! california sunshine, atlanta heat, a wedding in a river...all good things. its kept us busy for sure. my camera is all wonky so i cant download all the a-mazing photos from california where maggie and abraham were in their Aunts wedding and were sooo cute! photos to come as soon as i figure out technology....

my cousin's rehearsal dinner

20 yrs later...

when kim and i were 13 we met on our high schools cheerleading team. she liked me b/c i had good jumps, and i liked her long blond hair. my jumps arent as good anymore but kim's hair still long. this month our 13 yr. old selves would have been so happy. our children met for the first time. she had twins 3 weeks before Abraham was born. so needless to say, our lives have been too crazy to get our families together. but we had 24 hours together and our kiddos went CRAZY for each other and we hardly saw them as they ran around and played together. it was beautiful! then our two other besties from high school joined us for dinner and late night talking. they are still wild and crazy but oh so good as aunties.
